Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Blueprint app and this website. Blueprint is part of Vasly. By using Blueprint, you agree to these terms. Please read the disclaimer in section 4 carefully, because the grade is a guide, not an official rating.

1. The service

Blueprint reads official public records for a building and shows them alongside a computed A to F grade, so you can see more before you sign. The grade is Blueprint's own calculation from public records. It is a decision-support tool, nothing more.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use Blueprint and this site lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:

• Break the law, or use Blueprint to harass, defame, or target any person.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the app's data or the grade at scale, or build a competing dataset from it.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service or the public data sources it relies on.
• Reverse engineer or circumvent the app's purchase or security mechanisms.

Blueprint describes buildings and areas, not people. Do not use the grade to make an accusation against any individual landlord, agent, or resident.

4. Pro purchase

Blueprint Pro is an annual subscription of $14.99 per year that unlocks the Pro features described in the app and supports Family Sharing. It renews automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; you can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Customers who bought the earlier one-time Pro unlock keep Pro access permanently at no further charge. Purchases are processed, and any refunds are handled, by the Apple App Store or Google Play under that store's terms. We do not process payments ourselves. Prices may vary by region and tax, and may change over time.

5. Intellectual property

Blueprint, the Blueprint name and wordmark, the app's design, and the grading method are owned by us and our licensors. The underlying public records belong to their respective public sources. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app for your own housing decisions. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize the app or its output except as these terms allow.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Blueprint available and accurate, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The app depends on third-party public data sources and map providers that we do not control, so parts of the service may be unavailable, delayed, or change without notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blueprint is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the grade or the records are error free or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any housing, financial, or other decision you make based on the grade or the records. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app and the law change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Blueprint after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is based, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that place will have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of your home country.
